Today has been a great day!! We are in our 5th week of school and Ty is already reading some simple words (although he thinks he can read anything:) )!! I couldn't be prouder of him. Wyatt is really reading well and we are going to the library today to pick out new books. Ellie proves to be a challenge to our day, but we are learning to deal with her and her ever moving legs and hands.

Jarrod has concluded writing for a while. We just finished our study of Daniel and this next week we will look into "grief in the life of a Christian". As a wife I am glad to have more time with my husband, but as a student, I really like his lessons.

We are in our 5th week of marathon training as well. Actually it is the pretraining to the actual 18 week program. It is going well, although most of my runs are late at night this go around. It's proving to be very different from training in the afternoons like last time. Jarrod is usually finished running when I wake up in the morning. Although the thought of being up everyday at 5:30 is grotesque to me, I have to admit I am a little jealous at night when he's reading or watching TV as I am treking away on the treadmill.

So far the ending months of 2008 have been uneventful, but with 3 kids ages 6 and under, that could change any second. When it does, I will post it:)!!

I am so excited to start this blogspot for our family. I think its a great way for all of our "out of town" loved ones to keep up with us. I promise to be as faithful to this site as a homeschooling Mom of three little ones can be.

Today has been exciting for us because ----- TY GOT HIS CAST OFF!!!!!!!
It is very difficult to keep an active five year old busy and not into trouble with a cast on. God has definetly answered our prayers. He is so good to us - all the time.

Well this is my first post - if anything exciting happens over this fourth of July weekend I will update you all.
